In what was being touted as the comeback of the decade, Britney Spears opened the show with her much-hyped performance... if you call lip-syncing a song in a bra and underpants a performance. Although she was appearing live to an audience of millions, it seemed more like watching a dress rehearsal. Britney was almost walking through her dance routine, making it hard to believe that the awkward performer used to possess some of the best dance moves out there. And she completely mouthed the words to her new single "Gimme More". She wasn't even trying to pretend she was singing!
